How to create an easy COLLAGE in Word [Pictures]

Make a collage in Word It is a fairly easy step, and more if you dare to follow these steps; But keep in mind that the final result will depend on your level of creativity.

We all know Word as a word processor, however, applying the imagination the sky is the limit.

Create a Collage from scratch

To make your collage in Word quickly you must have selected the images you want to use.

The images to be placed or photographs must be clear, have a good resolution so that when pasting or enlarging them they are not distorted.

Once selected, you open the word processor (WORD).

You select all the photographs and paste in the document.

I usually do this with the sheet orientation horizontally so that your collage in Word is as large as possible. But if you need a poster type, I recommend doing it in a vertical format.

You click on each image, you will get a tab at the top that will say: Image Tools.

You must do it with each image and select in front of the text; in this way you will be able to manipulate the image at your convenience.

You can add additional shapes to images depending on what is in Word, as well as lighting, 3D effects, bevels, shadow, and reflection; all this is found by clicking on each image, locating the image effect.

How to make a Collage using SmartArt

Another way of how to make a collage in Word is with this tool. If you want something more original, stylish, and faster, this trick will give you a great way to present your collages.

I show you below: at the top of Word, in the INSERT tab, there is a space called SmartArt.

In this section you will find many designs, choose the one you like, as long as you can insert images inside the shapes.

For example, in this case I selected the second;

Once the model has been inserted to create your collage in Word, the format will appear like this:

You can simply delete the word texts from the hexagons when creating your collage in Word and place an image like this:

• Right-click on each shape, and then click on shape format, a tab will appear on the right side with fill options, select the one from: Fill with image and textures.

If you have been able to fill each shape with images and they have not been adjusted enough, I recommend you go to the scrolling section as I show you in the following image.

Here you can adjust the image little by little so that it is according to your expectations.

And here my result, I have already modified the images to my liking, I have made a change in the letters, size and color. Something very simple to do to create a collage in Word and that will not take much time.
