What you need:      

 -5 large carrots

-Lemon juice (one whole lemon)

-4 tablespoons of honey

1.- Cut the carrots into small pieces and place them in a small pot and add water until they are completely covered.

2.- Cook over medium heat.

3.- Boil until the carrots are soft.

4.- Pour the carrots in a fine mesh strainer over a large bowl, do not throw the water.

5.- Blend until smooth.

6.- When the water is lukewarm, pour in the honey and stir until it dissolves.

7.- In a glass jar, add water to the carrot and lemon puree and mix the ingredients until everything is smooth and incorporated. 8.- Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.

How is it used:

-Take 4 or 5 tablespoons of syrup every day to combat phlegm production.

-If you want to use it as a preventive treatment, you can take a tablespoon a day, preferably alone, this will be our ideal home remedy for cough.
