The planet Jupiter does not revolve around our sun

It was discovered that, in fact, its center of gravity does not lie in the sun.

The giant of our solar system is observed by the spacecraft, the Juno probe, which was launched in 2011 by the NASA. In 2016, this probe recently passed the gaseous planet and managed to take some photos. The mission of the probe was to study the mysterious interior of the planet with the help of magnetic waves, radio waves and the gravitational field of the planet itself.

When the probe managed to capture photos, the researchers were amazed at how incredibly large the planet was. The photos gave the necessary data to determine that Jupiter it was so big that it couldn't possibly turn our sun.

They discover that Jupiter does not revolve around the Sun.

When a small object orbits, an object that is so large in space, it does not necessarily have to travel in a perfectly circular way around the larger object. Instead, the two objects orbit in a combined center of gravity - that is, the planet Jupiter does not revolve around the sun.

The gravitational center that exists between the sun and the gas giant resides at a point in space that is just beyond the surface of the star. The planet Jupiter, as established by NASA, it has a giant size locating its center at 7% of the radius of the giant star.

This same law applies when, for example, the International Space Station orbits the Earth. The Earth and the station orbit their gravitational center in combination, but that gravitational center is so close to the center of the Earth that it is difficult to locate at first glance. This makes the station appear to draw a perfect circle around the planet.

Jupiter It is about 143.000 kilometers wide and experts say it is so large that it could swallow not only our planet, but all the rest of the solar system.
